WVU defense at full strength for Orange
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – It may seem rather simplistic to reduce it to one of the sport’s most basic concepts, but when West Virginia plays Syracuse this afternoon at the Carrier Dome the outcome is likely to come down to this:Which team’s playmakers will make more plays?Granted, that’s no grand revelation. After all, pretty much every college football game comes down to that in one way or another. Sure, coaching and strategy and breaks and a whole bunch of other factors play into it, but this one seems ripe for a star or two to emerge simply because both teams rely so heavily on individual skill.
