WVU’s Williams a finalists for football award
GLENVIEW, Ill. – West Virginia University linebacker Reed Williams has been named to the top 10 finalists for the Awards and Recognition Association’s fifth annual sportsmanship award, which is given to one outstanding NCAA Division 1 collegiate football player who best personifies the spirit of sportsmanship.
Williams, a double major in finance and marketing, is from Moorefield. He was named to ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-American First Team.
The award recipient will be announced in December.
