WVU’s Butler finalist for Senior CLASS Award
West Virginia University’s Da’Sean Butler was among 20 finalists Wednesday for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.
The Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School award recognizes the nation’s outstanding senior student-athlete in NCAA Division I men’s basketball.
The 20 finalists were selected by a media committee from the list of 30 candidates announced in October. The winner will be selected during the NCAA men’s Final Four in early April. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – classroom, character, community and competition.
