Mountaineers rebound to defeat Georgetown
WASHINGTON — An excellent blocking effort fueled the West Virginia University volleyball team to a victory over Big East foe Georgetown Sunday at the McDonough Arena in Washington.
The Mountaineers (12-9, 2-4 Big East) defeated the Hoyas (11-11,1-5) in a 3-2 (16-25, 25-20, 25-18, 18-25, 15-13) match.
